I think I am officially finished with asking girls out.
It has become nothing more than a joke. I'm simply sick of it.
I used to ask them out, they'd either say they were "busy" or no. If the response of yes ever comes up, they bail out later or if things weren't fully finalized and you try to contact them they ignore you. So I stopped asking if they wanted to go on a date and instead would ask if they were single. Yet the response is always the same, they are dating someone. But if, in fact, they are single then I must ask if they want to go on a date and thus we get thrown back to the usual responses of crap. Even getting "set up" doesn't help, somehow they happen to bend the universe to their bloody will and squeeze out of the situation, leaving me alone without a date yet again. If things happen to work out and I actually get to the point of picking them up some evil amount of unfortunate luck befalls instantly and something random happens, two real instances like this happened to me. One girl was sick and couldn't go, the other girl forgot about the date and wasn't even there.
How the heck am I supposed to date around if I can't get a date??
I just want to go on dates. If it turns into a relationship, great, if not, oh well.
My last four attempts in a row have failed. The first two girls I asked were cute girls that I came across in different stores, I never met them, just went up and asked if they were single. Both were dating someone. The next attempt was an old friend, but what's this, she is married now, imagine that. Finally my last attempt is a girl my mother wanted me to ask out, the girl works at the same place. Normally this is never a good idea. Ever. I asked for a picture and I'd see if I would ask her or not. The picture was marvelous. A picture of me was taken to her so she could see and she liked it. So I call her, no answer. Around thirty minutes later I call again, no answer so I leave a message. Immediately after leaving the message she calls back and asks who I was. I tell her and we try talking but there is far too much background noise, she was shopping and told me to text her. So I text her asking if she wanted to go Thursday or Friday. She replies saying we should Thursday and that she has a friend that would go if I wanted to double. I told her that is fine and asked if her friend had a date. No response ever came back. That was yesterday. I called her today and no answer so I left another message. Today is Thursday and its already past 7:00pm. Maybe she lost her phone? Maybe her phone broke? Maybe she doesn't want to go and ignoring me? Since girls just love to do that. Maybe she wants to go on a double with her friend so its more comfortable? All I know is I haven't gotten a response and have gotten the impression that she doesn't want to go and I think its very impolite that she hasn't said ANYTHING back. If she doesn't want to go she should just say that. She was cute too. Whatever. I guess it doesn't matter any more. :(
